A Letter from Jeff & Molly
Hi from Idaho! We’re an active, fun-loving, and multi-cultural family with so much love to share. We met while working at a children’s home, during an ice skating outing with the kids. From the beginning, we both shared a calling toward caring for children and ministry. Now married 10 years, we’re proud parents of 3 children and our family’s adoption story!
Our work gives us flexibility so that one or both of us is able to be with our kids. We center our lives on faith and family, and feel called to grow our family through adoption again. We’d love to get to know you and are honored to be considered as adoptive parents for your child!
About Us
Friends describe us as giving, inspiring, funny, and adventurous.
Together we enjoy:
• Camping (we love roasting marshmallows and telling stories around a campfire!)
• Hiking
• Taking family trips to the ocean or to see relatives
• Playing board games
• Escape Rooms
• Family movie night
• Attending and serving at our church
Meet Molly
Jeff says: Molly is a Registered Nurse and clinical coordinator at a hospital. She’s hard-working and a natural leader, caring, trustworthy, and a good friend who always looks for ways to lift up others. Molly is a planner and good at organizing family activities. From birthday parties to fun surprises, she always has something interesting for us to do, and is there for us in every way. Molly is a great mom!
Molly likes:
• Attending my kids’ sports, piano recitals, and school events
• Gardening or tending the farm animals
• Decorating, especially for Christmas
• Traveling to learn about other cultures
• Camping and swimming
Fun fact: Molly has traveled with a medical team to help people in countries around the world.
Meet Jeff
Molly says: Jeff works for a cattle feed lot, running maintenance around 30,000 cows. He grew up on a ranch, so his work is right up his alley! Jeff is giving, generous, patient, and always willing to help. He’s a fun, hard-working father who loves to teach the kids how to use tools, build or fix things, and practical life skills. Jeff is an involved dad with a strong faith that models Christ by example.
Jeff likes:
•Serving youth at our church (I’m a co-pastor for our youth group!)
• Home or yard projects
• Spending time outdoors
• Going to the movies
• Preaching at church sometimes
Fun fact: Jeff is a huge Star Wars fan with a big collection of Star Wars memorabilia. He’s even been to several Star Wars conventions!
Our Children
Adoption brought our family together! We have an open adoption and stay in touch with their birth mother. Our kids know they can talk or ask questions about their adoption story and love to hear stories about their birth family.
Constance, 15 years old: Loves her friends, is quiet, kind, and funny. She plays volleyball, basketball, and softball, and is learning guitar.
Alicia,13 years old: Sweet, thoughtful, and loves bright colors, sparkles, rainbows, and unicorns. She enjoys playing piano, music, and art.
Mikel, 11 years old: Spunky, fun, and excited to teach a little sibling how to play chess. He likes movies, video games, playing football or basketball, and Legos.
Our Home in Idaho
We love our farm life out in a beautiful rural area of Idaho. Our home is about a mile outside of a small town, though it only takes an hour to get to the city. There’s a water-park and several hot springs nearby, and it’s only a short drive to get to the mountains for hiking and nature.
• Big country home with 5 bedrooms
• Large yard with a fire pit for bonfires with friends and family
• Big garden and barn
• Pygmy goats, chickens, and ducks
Our Promise
We love being parents and providing a stable, loving home where our children know they are supported and loved, for life. We promise to be there for your child, whatever comes, and to make sure he or she knows their worth, and their story. We love having an open adoption, so if you’d like to stay in touch we’re open to phone calls, sharing pictures and letters, and coordinating visits with you.
As parents we will:
• Talk about you with love
• Raise your child to be kind and loving
• Model Christian values and a deep faith
• Encourage your child in his or her dreams and interests
• Give opportunities to learn, including good schools and travel
We’re already praying for you and your child, the decision you are considering. Thank you for learning about our family! We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. To learn more about us, please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.
With love, Jeff & Molly
